I've been busy writing and have launched two new tutorials:
MODx Templating Strategy is tutorial that will show you a best practice for developing scalable templates in MODx CMS.
PHP Tools of the Trade is for PHP beginners and will let you in on all of the software and server knowledge that you need if you want to learn PHP.
These are the first two tutorials that I'm launching on this site after the redesign and I've got more on the way. Enjoy.

Keep going with your MODx tuts - AWESOME! Consider posting them in the MODx Wiki?? P.S. I agree completely with your review of the MODx book. I don't mean to dismiss someone's hard work, but such a disappointment. So write a new one!!

Hi Wendy, I'm glad you like the new tutorial. I'd post it in the wiki, but I'm not sure which one to post it in :)

How did you add the share buttons I am not a programmer at all and cant find an easy way to do that, ideally just the FB like button would be perfect. Some intresting articles on this site BTW was googling how ti add a FB like button and have now spent half hour reading though non releated posts. Cheers

it's a wp plugin called Sociable, but if you just want to add a single button then just find one you like and view the source of the page to see how it's done.
