I figured out a little trick to save some cash when buying things like domain names, hosting, printing, dinner plates, etc on the internet and wanted to share it. Any time you buy something online and see a coupon code input field when you are checking out, make sure you do a Google search for 'store name' and 'coupon code' or 'promo code'. There are tons of websites that collect and share this information and they can offer you some great savings. For example - the next time you buy a domain name from GoDaddy (www.GoDaddy.com), search for 'godaddy coupons' on Google and you'll get lots of sites offering codes for things like 10% off and $6.95 domain names.

I have always used SAVETEN at GoDaddy and it has always worked. No point in ever paying full price there is you don't have too.

Yeah, when I figured this out I was pretty amazed not only at the number of promo codes out there, but at my dumbness for not thinking of this before. Seriously, there is mega savings out there, and there is no reason not to use these codes.

Very true. It even works for non-web stores such as bed bath and beyond. Google coupons and then bam 20% off your entire purchase.

Try music or icecase(think that's the one), it'll knock off 90% off the first month. I don't really see coupon code for anything besides hosting..but then again I'm not all that observant.
